UPGRADE FOR 24F RIBBONS
This package includes all the necessary modifications to be able to run 24 F ribbon cables on the OFC45 with RST 450. Strander modifications are wider turning pulleys, improved fleeting angle, separating comb, ECH12/16 tooling and
larger dryer nozzles.
PW20 PRE WETTING UNIT
The recycling oil pre wetting unit PW20 is used as an alternative for jelly pre wetting. The pre wetting oil should be the base oil of the main filling jelly. Advantages of oil pre wetting compared to jelly pre wetting are that base oil is cheaper than jelly, material savings by recycling and lubrication properties of oil are better than with jelly.
JELLY FILLING SYSTEM 100 UPGRADES
If you have problems in getting the new high viscosity jellies into the JFS100 you should add a transfer pump between the storage tank and JFS tank. By doing this you can also reduce the vacuum and the risk of jelly "boiling".
Jelly circulation feedback system guarantees fresh homogenious jelly at the production start-up. By having constant jelly viscosity, temperature and pressure immidiately at the fiber launch the start-up scrap will be reduced.
